Why is it like that? I couldn’t avoid it any longer and so I volunteered to have a vaccination and could cry about it.
I perceive it as successful blackmailing.
How that came to pass?
In no means I’m a vaccine opponent or Corona denier. Don’t get me wrong. The pandemic is a problem and I consider the possibility to get vaccinated be good and right. As long as it remains a possibility. In an unbelievable act of strength and in the shortest of times a vaccine was developed. A great achievement of progress that will save many lives.
I was offered the opportunity to get a vaccination appointment. Sounds good.
By 12 p.m. I should decide whether I want to and give notice. Why am I being pushed so hard?
It feels like everyone is scrambling to get vaccinated. It’s free. Great!
Vaccination is expensive, I know that from painful experience. € 40 for the vaccine, € 18 for the doctor’s appointment, depending on the disease you want to be vaccinated against and the doctor you choose, even more. After all the German word for health insurance company is „illness company”. So much for that.
